2021.12.05 08:49 softimage Two Boot Drives with Shared Data Question

Hey all, just a couple of quick questions as I am trying to figure out an issue with my current build.

So first off, I am running a PC with a HDD Power Switch module, see here: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00TZR3E70/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This allows me to choose whether I want to power up / boot into drive A or into drive b when I turn on my PC (both have their own unique windows10 installs).
Also, I have 2 other SSDs connected to this switch, but these stay powered on all the time regardless of which drive is booted/powered on, so each windows instance sees and can read these drives.

So my question is, is there a safe way to share the SSDs drives across these two different windows installs? The reason I ask is because after about a day or two of running the PC this way, I started getting some chkdsk errors popping up now and again (my guess is that I might have been deleting/creating files that is creating inconsistencies to the drive's data table perhaps).
Any help on this would be awesome. Many thanks!

2021.12.05 08:49 LinuxInsider A possible case of GPL violation by an ISP

My ISP provider "forces" us to use a "Smart Router" which I believe is powered by Linux. In the the web-page of the router's configuration manager (, under a menu option named "About", it displays the information concerning open source software used by the router (listed in the table below). Many GPLed software is used. Basically, the bare-bones of an OS! I dare say that only the Linux kernel is absent from the list (plus the glibs). Nowhere in the router's website or the ISP website is Linux mentioned nor a way for the ISP to comply to the GPL (link to the source code). However, if it's Linux powered, I suppose anyone is entitled to see or request the router's firmware. Am I right? I would like to inspect the source code since I found lots of discrepancies between the information provided by the front-end management software!
Using nmap I get the following results:
a) scanning the world IP address

So, nmap has some problems identifying the underlying OS. Yet, it suspects it's Linux. Can this be a BSD variant? Is it possible to have all the software listed on the router's webpage in a non Linux OS? How should I proceed? Do I have enough information to ask politely to my ISP for the source code of the router? I've sent a similar mail to the FSF but obtained no response!

2021.12.05 08:49 Fragrant_Body_6055 Question

Hello, I have a kitten that’s around 6/7 months old(willow) she has randomly started attacking my covers at night. This is not the first time I’ve owned a cat and she’s not attacking my feet she’s just going for my actual cover hard enough to put holes in it and is drewling all over it she didn’t do it with any other cover. I tried Googling but it only came up with cats attacking peoples feet or trying to suckle on the cover but it seems a tad to aggressions to be suckling.
At the same time she started doin that she starting nipping the tips of my fingers but I know that can be for affection or stimulation overload.
So has anyone else experienced this? Thanks

2021.12.05 08:49 TheBookCannon They better juice PIM centre backs

We have an 80+pace Pique in December
Despite this, the prime card of Franco Baresi, greatest defender of all time (with the Kaiser) due to be released next week will have around 70 pace and be essentially unusable.
This is despite him being the highest rated defender in the whole game.
EA has recognised pace is important for CBs. Hence why old men like Verthongen and Pepe have got pace buffs.
We all know the icon stats need a massive rework. My only hope is that when icon moments roll around we see defenders like Baresi, Nesta, Vidic rewarded with a card that actually plays like they did in real life.
Last year they did a similar thing with Kaka where they fixed his pace from his others cards...But they didn't do it with similar players like Owen.
I just hope that we can actually use some of the greatest defenders of all time for a change and that the PIM still won't have worse stats than Foundation Macintosh (who even is he?)

2021.12.05 08:49 Hrimdraw Where to start

Hi, I am wanting to start a Maggotkin of Nurgle Army. What do I need? I am more into the mortals of the faction, but I don't have anything against running a few demons, just not a whole army of plague bearers.
What models do I need? How does the army play on the board and what are things to consider?
Thanks in advance

2021.12.05 08:49 Roby_Teed Can't ask board to increase transfer budget

I'm doing a Peterborough save, and im in the prem in my 3rd season. However, the board only gave me a budget of 500k, which ive all put into wages as the current wages were over the budget (they still are). However, i can't ask the board for an increase into the budget (despite the fact we'll make tens of millions this year), which will drastically affect my ability to stay in the league. Any suggestions on when ill be able to ask the board to increase it?
